SYSTEM INTEGRATION
VALE - BRAZILIAN POTASH PLANT
PROMAX Combustion supplied three (3) complete combustion systems for GEA’s Quebec based office. The 10 MMBTU/Hr, 40 MMBTU/Hr & 50 MMBTU/Hr systems were delivered to VALE for a Brazilian based potash plant.
Following VALE’s strict engineering and quality control guidelines, PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included turnkey systems complete with combustion chambers, MAXON LV burners, MAXON SMARTLINK fuel/air ratio control, natural gas fuel trains and an FM approved burner management system.
MAPEI - ILLINOIS LATEX POWDER PLANT
PROMAX Combustion supplied one (1) complete combustion system for AIREX’s Quebec based office. The 10 MMBTU/Hr direct fired system was delivered to MAPEI to increase production output of their main latex powder line.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included a turnkey system with a combustion chamber, MAXON APX burner, SMARTLINK DS fuel control, natural gas fuel train, combustion air blower and an FM approved burner management system.
CANADA GAMES COMMITTEE - 2013 SUMMER GAMES CAULDRON
PROMAX Combustion supplied one (1) complete combustion system for the 2013 CANADA GAMES COMMITTEE. The mandate was to design a CUSTOM burner ring in order to generate a visually appealing and stable flame for outdoor operation throughout the 14 days of the event.
The cauldron was to be re-used at every summer and winter CANADA GAMES for the next 10 years. PROMAX Combustion also supplied the flame supervision, fuel train and INTERTEK approvals for this one of a kind burner system.
FUEL TRAINS
ALCOA - QUEBEC ANODE FURNACE
PROMAX Combustion supplied a redundant 120 MMBTU/Hr fuel train to INNOVATHERM’s German based office. The complete fuel train system was designed and engineered to HATCH’s specification and strict quality control guidelines.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included engineering, design, fabrication, wiring, pressure testing & delivery of the finished fuel train to ALCOA’s Quebec based production facility.
GLENCORE - NEW BRUNSWICK NICKEL SMELTER
PROMAX Combustion supplied a 50 MMBTU/Hr fuel train to GLENCORE’s Nickel smelter in New Brunswick. The complete fuel train system was designed and engineered to Glencore’s custom specification.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included engineering, design, fabrication, wiring, pressure testing & delivery of the finished fuel train to the Eastern Canadian plant.
SURVIVAL SYSTEMS - CRASH SIMULATION SYSTEM FOR TRAINING
PROMAX Combustion supplied a seven (7) zone and three (3) zone propane fired fuel trains for a helicopter crash simulator for a NOVA SCOTIA based training facility. The complete fuel train package was designed specifically this very custom application in order to meet local approval requirements.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included engineering, design, fabrication, pressure testing & delivery of two (2) complete fuel train assemblies.

PLASCO ENERGY - OTTAWA WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY
PROMAX Combustion supplied one (1) complete combustion systems for PLASCO ENERGY’s Ottawa based waste management facility. The 5 MMBTU/Hr system was designed to exceed CSA Class I, Division II area classification.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included MAXON NPLE burner, SMARTLINK DS fuel/air ratio control, natural gas fuel trains and a fully approved Z-PURGE protected burner management system.
ELOPAK - QUEBEC FOOD SEALING LINE
PROMAX Combustion supplied a complete parts package and main control panel for a five (5) zone food sealing line for QUEBEC based manufacturer. The pre-wired and tested control panel was designed specifically for the custom application and CSA regulatory requirements.

COMEAU SEAFOOD - NOVA SCOTIA FISH MEAL PLANT
PROMAX Combustion supplied two (2) complete combustion systems for CARMICHAEL’s NOVAL SCOTIA based office. The pair of 28 MMBTU/Hr direct fired systems was delivered to COMEAU SEAFOOD as part of an Oil/Natural Gas conversion of their facility.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included a GASBRENNER burners, natural gas fuel trains and an INTERTEK approved burner management system with MODBUS communication and first out annunciation.

MECHANICAL SERIVES - MAINE AIR DRYING FACILITY
PROMAX Combustion supplied one (1) complete combustion system for a direct fired air heating application. The 10 MMBTU/Hr system was delivered to operate outdoors, under the harsh conditions that the North Eastern USA climate can deliver.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included a turnkey system with a full stainless steel combustion chamber, MAXON NPLE burner, SMARTLINK DS fuel control, propane fuel train and an FM approved burner management system.
WESTERN POLYMERS - WASHINGTON STARCH DRYER
PROMAX Combustion supplied one (1) complete combustion system for a direct fired starch drying application. The 6 MMBTU/Hr system was delivered to operate outdoors.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included a turnkey system with a full stainless steel combustion chamber, MAXON NPLE burner, SMARTLINK DS fuel control, propane fuel train and an FM approved burner management system.
ALUMINERIE SHAWINIGAN - QUEBEC HOMOGENIZING FURNACE
PROMAX Combustion supplied one (1) complete combustion system for a direct fired aluminum homogenizing furnace. The 5 MMBTU/Hr system was delivered to operate on a continuous bases at temperatures of 1200F.
PROMAX Combustion’s mandate included a fully assembled and refractory lined combustion chamber, MAXON OPLE burner, SMARTLINK DS fuel control, natural gas fuel train and combustion air blower.
